Whether it is true or not global warming is scary, the idea that 50 years from now catastrophic problems will rage the planet. But why do these people don't care about the future? There is a lot of money to be made with fossil fuels, oil peaked in the 1970's, it is on the decline which makes it extremely valuable, coal is plentiful and therefore cheaper than starting up a sustainable energy source, especially in developing countries.
