Theses are a series of role-plays which include you the teacher to interact with the students. They're intended to be used as a warm up in the first period of the class time so you can know which students are good or not.
How to do this: each student has a set out character and so do you. For instance if a student has a character who is always crying then he/she has act that way.
Each role-play has ten scenarios and four characters; three students and you in each one. So about 30 students are the maximum and if you have a few extra students then you make some characters twins.
What is this project's purpose?
To test their ability in listening, thinking and responding with improvisation. The students can prepare a little bit but don't know what you are going to do or say. Class discussions some students may remain silent so using this projects allow you to get them speaking.
Description: first of a series where I wanted to test students' abilities without any preparation.
The octagon role-play project. Here are three topics with eight different scenarios. The idea is for students to choose a number but have no time to prepare. Then they can choose which number they want and flip over the tab.
